A weeks notice will be given if there is a price increase in the hourly lesson rate.

48 hours notice is required to cancel the lesson, otherwise the customer may still be charged.

If the customer is deemed to be under the influence of either drugs or alcohol, the lesson will be terminated, and the customer will be charged for the lesson. It is the customers responsibility to check that any prescribed drugs will not affect their ability to drive.

Sensible footwear must be worn for the duration of the lesson.

The customer is responsible for giving the correct pick up and drop off location, and to be on time for the lesson.

If the driving instructor is running late due to unforeseen circumstances, the customer will be notified as soon as possible, and the time lost will be added on at the end of the lesson or rolled over to the following lesson in agreement with the customer.

If the training vehicle has a mechanical failure before the lesson, the customer will be notified as soon as possible and the lesson rearranged until the car is fixed. If the breakdown occurs on the lesson, the remaining time outstanding on the lesson will be rolled over to the next lesson, or credited back to the customer.

The customer will be responsible for booking and managing their own driving test as from 12th May 2026.

The driving test will not be taken in the training vehicle unless the customer is regarded as being at driving test standard by the driving instructor.

Customers are responsible for checking that their driving test date and time, is one that the instructor is available for, and for swapping the test to a later date if advised to do so by the instructor.

In the rare event that a fault occurs in the training vehicle immediately before or on the driving test, the driving instructor will not be liable for any none refundable driving test fees. A replacement car will be sought as soon as possible, however there is no guarantee of obtaining a replacement car for the driving test.
